Sotheby's is one of those international reality companies you expect nothing short of fantastic from them, which is also why we love them. This Eara Cecilia featured home is located in Austin, TX. It's not your typical Texan-style home like we've been accustomed to seeing with HGTV's Chip and Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper. "Y'all know what a mean?"
This home is situated on an acre lot with four bedrooms and three baths. It's noted the exterior work, specifically the landscape, was remodeled for the perfect curb appeal. This home features a game room, pool, spa, outdoor fire pit and play area just to name a few of the amenities.

Amazing! Extraordinary! Bravo! This would be the genuine response I'd give to any foodie curious about the Chicago Oyster House on Chicago's South Loop. Mark your calendars and get ready to chow down on a little taste of heaven.
When it comes to seafood and sushi, I consider myself to be an expert. I'm far from a "picky" eater but I love fresh, delicious seafood and you can count on it, if it isn't fresh I would say so. The restaurant credits themselves as being the "raw fish specialists" and they're seriously not calling a bluff here. They know what they're doing.
The food, we'll get to that in a moment. I have to mention the friendly service from the host to the waiting and the richness of a calming atmosphere. This is what always makes or breaks an establishment for me and they are winning in that department. It just made the experience even more pleasant and inviting.
Now the food. We started off with an appetizer which was the Fried Calamari. It was cooked to perfection. It was crispy, not overcooked or rubbery. We continued with a daring and adventurous tryout of the oysters. This was my very first time eating oysters and I must say, move over McDonald's because I'm loving it.
Their oysters come in a variety of flavors served with cocktail sauce. We had six and tried three of the flavors; my least favorite Blue Point which described as mildly briny and sweet; my second favorite was the Delaware Bay also described as briny and sweet; and my most favorite one the Naked Cowboys, the refreshing and savory flavor.
It was absolutely imperative for us to try the sushi and the California Maki was pretty good but the Volcano was phenomenal. It was like a party going on in my mouth with the bold flavors of the shrimp tempura and avocado mingled with the sweet and and spicy mayo drizzled on top. Yes, yes, yes it was amazing!
One of the people who accompanied me elected to try a sample of the King crab leg. The impressive presentation of serving the crab already split with warm butter wowed me, but apparently both heaven and earth collided when I asked for a review. Between the constant nodding of approval and the delightful facial expression of appeasement, I guarantee you it was delicious. On the other hand, I tried the soft shell crab (not pictured) which came lightly battered and with ponzu sauce. I gave it two thumbs up because it was good but it wasn't anything I expected. I guess I was expecting more crunch and I later found out that "deep fried" can be requested, which would have been closer to my liking.
Our evening came to an end with simple ice cream desert called "Mochi". If you're unfamiliar with Mochi, it's basically a Japanese rice cake with ice cream inserted into the center like shown in the picture to the left. They're small but sufficient.
I highly recommend the Chicago Oyster House located 1933 South Indiana Ave in the South Loop. Go check it out.

Walking into a doctor's office people are usually at ease when they spot the certification license on the wall qualifying the doctor to perform the work requested; this doesn't mean the doctor was an honor roll student, it means the doctor passed the exam. Yet within the same doctor's office a certified nurse who graduated at the top of their class doesn't receive the same amount of respect by patients as the doctor. Why? It's all about the title.
This scenario was not written to belittle or esteem either position but to give insight to how we treat others based on those titles. While many are fueled by their position in the workplace, no one can do it all on their own. It takes a team of leaders to build successful business, practice or firm and it takes more than a title to get there.
Traditional Home: The Dutch invented a special container to display flowers, but tulipieres were not intended just for tulips, says Dutch dealer Robert Aronson, who brought a monumental pair to NYC's Winter Antiques Show (through January 31st). “The misnomer grew out of a desire to combine 17th-century Delft vases with the Dutch ‘Tulipmania’ story, even though the tulip-bulb market had burst in 1637 -- some half century before the finest Delft masterworks were created.” Tulips or not, tulipieres seem custom created for butterfingered flower lovers like me. Have you ever been in a good mood and then it all just disintegrates at the expense of someone else? Yeah, I've been there too. It's as if you've suddenly realized the mistake you made of sharing a little happiness with the "Grouch" and you instantly feel compelled to just walk away. Of course the alternative is to return the grouchy response and let it ruin the rest of your once perfectly good day which usually happens because it's in our nature to respond defensively. We're no stranger to that old famous cliche, 'misery loves company' and this is prime example of it.
In this day and age of technology, we have access to a wide variety of communication which can lead to sudden tension and stress at a moment's notice. Negative energy can seep through unexpected phone call, email, text, news headline or even a friend's social media post. Admittedly I've had my fair share of social media foes and faux friends, yet I contemplated on my life goals and expectations for 2016, none of that negativity had a place in my life. It was vitally important that I remained focus and grounded on building healthier relationships and surrounding myself with like-minded people which is imperative for anyone who is pushing toward the mark of wealth and success. It goes beyond networking. In order to reach your greatest potential in life, you have to tear down walls and separate yourself from pessimists, naysayers and dream-killers. Those who see the world through small windows are like poisonous venom who spread negative energy that's known to instill fear and doubt for the dreamer.
Never confuse constructive criticism with negative feedback. There are those who care a great deal about our future endeavors; from time to time they may grace us with some words of encouragement that may not be exactly what we "want to hear" but we "need to hear". These are the people who have insight and wisdom that could very well help steer us toward the right direction and help us gain momentum for reaching our highest level of success.
In a nutshell it because of my faith I believe God strategically handpicked and placed the right people into my life; visionaries and goal-oriented people. I simply don't have any desire to be around individuals who choose to see the world through smeared, dirty lens. I've made a choice to rise above the ashes, eliminate my fears, overcome my preconceived notion of true happiness and venture out toward the world of possibility and prosperity. With a planet this size, surely there's room for more billionaires.
Learn to choose your words wisely, conquer the day with optimism and 'shush' the negativity surrounding you. Be the life=changing example for others to see.
